任军

1961年生，陕西汉中城固人，1987年毕业于西安美术学院雕塑系，中国 重要的公共艺术家之一。1990年创建自己的工作室并开始关注公共艺术的创作实 践，1992年成立派昂现代艺术创作机构，成为二十世纪末中国城市雕塑公共艺术 领域的先锋。他以独立的创作精神和现实主义态度，深度体会和表达了中国改革 开放时代背景下的城市精神，关注中国公共艺术价值诉求和新时代的文化力量与 样式。曾为1999年昆明世界园艺博览会、2010年温哥华冬奥会、2011年西安世界 园艺博览会及中外近百座城市创作了大量代表性的公共艺术作品。他的作品，是 中国特有的现实状况和他的个人创造力的结合，他创造的样式独一无二，让中国 社会的发展趋势直观呈现。

Ren Jun Ren Jun , born in 1961 , HanZhong in Shaanxi province , one of China’s most important public artists . In 1987 , he graduated from the sculpture department in Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts . In 1990 , he created his own art studio and began to concentrate more on practice of creating public arts , and then he established his own modern art organization named Prance in 1992 . With his effort and devote into the art business , Prance became the pioneer in the field of Chinese urban sculpture and public art in the late twentieth century . His independent creative spirit and realism attitude , allows him to profoundly experience and express the urban spirit under the historical background of reforming age of China , also draw his attention to the demand value of public arts and the cultural strength and style of this new era . A few remarkable projects are The Kunming International Horticultural Exposition in 1999 , The Vancouver Biennale in 2010 , and The Xi’an International Horticultural Exposition in 2011 . All the events that Ren Jun has participated are organizations that gather hundreds of artists from all over the world to exhibit their most representative works of public arts . There is no doubt that Ren Jun will keep impress the world with his outstanding artistic talent .
